Outside of her finance career, Kat is passionate about community building and her cultural heritage. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, an activity she finds closely linked to her value of nation-building. She enjoys sharing her Filipino culture with her colleagues.
As the only Filipino in her team, she once introduced everyone to Jollibee, a popular fast-food chain from the Philippines.
