Katja van Geffen is the Manager of the Drug Information Center at KNMP, the Royal Dutch Pharmacists Association. With a PharmD from Utrecht University, her career spans from academic pharmacy research to leading care and innovation programs at the Dutch Kidney Foundation, consistently focusing on improving patient outcomes and medication safety.
She is actively involved in simplifying medical communication for patients. Katja recently led the initiative to develop a national, uniform set of pictograms for medication labels to reduce confusion and enhance patient understanding.
