Ken Fernandez is the Director of Rabat American School, bringing extensive international leadership experience from roles in Singapore, Guatemala, Nepal, and India. He holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University and is committed to co-creating future-forward school designs with teachers and students. Originally from Rochester, New York, Kens career was inspired by his experience as a literacy volunteer. He is a founding member of Building Walls of Wisdom, a non-profit dedicated to establishing schools in underserved communities. To recharge, he enjoys cycling, gardening, and traveling with his wife.
As the grandson of Cuban immigrants, his passion for education began by volunteering as an ESOL teacher to give back to the program his grandparents used.
