Kristin Akimchuk

Kristin Akimchuk is a detail-oriented television professional with over 15 years of experience in broadcast engineering and operations. As Director of Broadcast Operations at BitFire Networks, she manages day-to-day operations for the Boston and Phoenix Network Operations Centers. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ithaca College.

Described by colleagues as organized, kind, and compassionate, Kristin is passionate about finding creative solutions to the challenges facing the television industry. She embraces new technologies to enhance workflows and shows a keen interest in major news networks like CNN and BBC News, reflecting her deep engagement with the media landscape.

While at Ithaca College, Kristin was named both Senior of the Year and Best Director in 2005.
