Kristin Ardlie is an Institute Scientist at the Broad Institute, where she directs the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) projects data center. Her expertise is in creating large-scale genomic resources to understand human disease, and she holds a Ph. D. in human genetics from the University of Oxford.
She is a principal investigator for the NIHs major GTEx project, a landmark initiative building a public atlas of tissue-specific gene expression and its regulation.
