A Chartered Civil Engineer, she has extensive experience in BIM and digital construction from previous leadership roles at Bowmer and Kirkland and Laing ORourke, with a passion for driving innovation within the UK construction industry.
She is deeply committed to promoting the engineering profession and is actively involved in STEM outreach. Laura serves as a STEM Ambassador for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and a Construction Ambassador with CITB, frequently visiting schools to inspire the next generation of engineers.
She serves as the Awards Secretary for the prestigious Robert Stephenson Awards, which recognize engineering excellence in the North East.
