Lillian Mills is an internationally recognized accounting and tax policy expert serving as the first female Dean of the UT Austin McCombs School of Business. Holding a PhD from the University of Michigan, her distinguished career includes a fellowship at the U. S. Department of Treasury and numerous academic leadership roles.
Outside of her professional life, she is married to a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel. She is involved in her church, where she plays the piano or organ, and dedicates time to community service, particularly within the addiction and alcoholism recovery community.
Interesting fact: She is the first woman to serve as the permanent Dean in the 100-year history of the McCombs School of Business.
