Deeply rooted in his Galician heritage, Luis is passionate about supporting his community and family. He actively promotes youth sports, a value he shared with his late brother. He is an avid and competitive sailor, frequently participating in and sponsoring regattas with his own vessel.

An accomplished skipper, Luis, along with his brother Jorge, has led their "Aceites Abril" boat to victory in numerous prestigious sailing competitions, including the Conde de Gondomar Trophy.
