Malavika R Harita

Malavika R Harita is a seasoned brand strategist and communication evangelist with over 43 years of experience. She founded and led Saatchi & Saatchi Focus in India as CEO for 25 years and now runs Brand Circle, a strategic consultancy. She holds board positions at IIM Bangalore, Symphony Limited, and mentors startups at NSRCEL.

Outside of her corporate roles, Malavika is a passionate educator, teaching marketing and communication at various postgraduate institutes for over 30 years. Her personal interests include reading, writing, and people-watching. She was also a classical Bharata Natyam dancer who performed across the country and learned Carnatic classical music.

Interesting fact: Malavika was among the first Gurukul Chevening Scholars selected by the British Government for a leadership program at the London School of Economics.
