Dr. Malou C. Harrison is the Executive Vice President and Provost at Miami Dade College, where she has built a distinguished 35-year career. She is a respected leader focused on championing historically underrepresented students, furthering equity, and enhancing academic excellence. She holds a Ph. D. in Community College Leadership from Walden University.
Deeply committed to her community, Dr. Harrison volunteers with organizations addressing homelessness and food insecurity. Born in Jamaica, she credits her upbringing and time as a Girl Guide for shaping her values as a servant leader. She serves on several boards, including The Childrens Trust and the Community College Consortium on Immigrant Education.
