Manish Poddar

Manish Poddar is the founder of The House of Rare, the parent company of the successful menswear brand Rare Rabbit. He grew up in his familys textile business, gaining early experience before launching his own venture. A college dropout, he champions hands-on learning and practical business acumen over formal education.

Outside of work, Manishs early interest in fashion was heavily influenced by Bollywood icons like Amitabh Bachchan, whose styles he would emulate by working with local tailors. He has spent significant time living overseas, which shaped his global perspective, and is a family man with two adult sons.

As a child, he carried a VIP suitcase to school instead of a backpack because he wanted to feel like a businessman from a young age.
