Manny Gnanaraj is the Chief Nursing and Allied Health Professionals Officer for the North London NHS Foundation Trust. Originally trained in India, he has over two decades of mental health nursing experience in the NHS. He is a recipient of the NHS Executive Healthcare Leadership Award and the BAPIO Nurse of the Year Award.
Passionate about supporting disadvantaged groups, Manny has a special interest in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. He actively contributes to the British Indian Nurses Association and the Jabali Network, which support nurses from ethnic minority backgrounds to grow into senior leadership roles. He also holds a Diploma in Ministerial Course from Germany.
He is the NHSs first internationally-educated nurse from India to be appointed to a Board-level Chief Nursing Officer role.
