Dr. Marcia A. Taylor is a seasoned communications leader with over 18 years of experience in public relations and strategic communications. Her career spans academia, including a professorship at Norfolk State University and her role as Executive Director of Alumni Relations at Delaware State University. She holds an Ed. D. from Wilmington University.
Outside of her professional roles, she is dedicated to community service and volunteers with her church and other non-profit organizations. She is interested in building and maintaining stakeholder relations through effective communication strategies and providing services to members of organizations.
Her doctoral dissertation examined the public relations strategies used by Bayard Rustin for the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.
