Marissa Boucher is a University of Chicago student pursuing a B. S. in Physics and Applied Math. As a research assistant at the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics, she works on astroparticle physics, contributing to simulations for the Radio Neutrino Observatory in Greenland and the integration of a NASA-affiliated payload.
Outside of her research, Marissa dedicates time to education by working as a freelance private tutor for high school and college-level mathematics and SAT preparation. She holds a Maryland Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, highlighting her linguistic skills and ability to connect with a wider range of students.
She has contributed to the integration of the Payload for Ultrahigh Energy Observations (PUEO) at a NASA facility.
