Mark Houdek

Mark Houdek is an experienced sustainability leader at AES Indiana, where he helps customers achieve their goals through energy efficiency, renewables, and EV charging initiatives. An energy management professional since 2007, he holds both a bachelors and a masters degree from Indiana University.

Born and raised in Indiana, Mark is deeply involved in his community, serving as a board member for The Parks Alliance. He listens to "The Energy Gang" podcast and believes in staying curious and committed to learning. He enjoys reading about human performance.

Before entering the energy sector, Mark had a career as a wildlife biologist, studying diverse ecosystems.
