Mark Selby is the Chairman and CEO of Canada Nickel Company, advancing the Crawford Nickel Project in Northern Ontario. Recognized as a leading authority on the nickel market since 2001, he has extensive experience in the mining industry, including senior roles at Royal Nickel Corp. and Inco. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queens University.
He is an active alumnus of Queens University and is deeply involved in the economic development of Northern Ontario through his work in the Timmins Nickel District. He focuses on building strategic partnerships with investors, government bodies, and First Nations communities to advance major resource projects.
He is pioneering the development of what is poised to be one of the world’s largest and lowest carbon-footprint nickel mines.
