A graduate of Notre Dame Law School, his expertise is in environmental and renewable energy law, focusing on acquiring carbon-free energy to support Googles sustainability goals.
Outside of work, Matt has shown a commitment to youth development through his past role developing a summer engineering program with the National Society of Black Engineers. During law school, he was also a member of the 2L Irish Law softball team and has professional experience with sports law.
His work directly enables Googles large-scale investments in a carbon-free future, including massive deployments of solar and long-duration battery storage.
