Matthew Zeiler

Matthew Zeiler is the founder and CEO of Clarifai, an end-to-end AI platform. He earned his PhD from New York University after studying under AI pioneer Geoff Hinton at the University of Toronto. His focus is on simplifying how organizations build and deploy AI applications by providing all necessary tools in one place.

Matthews passion for deep learning, cultivated while working with pioneers like Yann LeCun and Jeff Dean, is the driving force behind his work. This passion extends beyond his corporate role, fueling his mission to advance the field of artificial intelligence and make its powerful capabilities broadly accessible to developers and businesses.

His AI model won the top five places in the 2013 ImageNet image classification competition, which became the catalyst for founding Clarifai.
