Michael Nicol is a second-year Scots Law LLB student at the University of Strathclyde with ambitions of becoming a solicitor. He has experience in local governance as a Youth Forum Member for South Lanarkshire Council and has been recognized with an award for debating.
He is actively involved in the universitys Law and Mooting Societies. A significant personal commitment is his work as a Holocaust Educational Ambassador, where he networks with politicians, academics, and survivors to broaden his understanding of historical persecution and deliver presentations on his experiences.
Uniquely, he collaborates with the Holocaust Educational Trust to share insights from his visit to the Auschwitz Concentration and Extermination Camp.
