Michael VanderKlugt is a Partner in Assurance at BPM, co-leading the firms Life Science Industry Group. With three decades of public accounting experience, primarily at Deloitte, he specializes in assisting life science and consumer business clients with audits, SEC reporting, and IPOs. He is a licensed CPA in California and serves on the advisory board for Saint Marys Colleges School of Business.
Outside of his professional life, Michael is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and has climbed Half Dome in Yosemite four times. He also has a passion for classic cars, driving his 1957 Chevy Bel Air, and enjoys traveling to watch his childrens sporting events.
Unique fact: He has successfully climbed Half Dome in Yosemite National Park on four separate occasions.
