Niraj Patel

Niraj Patel is the Senior Director of Global Genomics Operations at Neogen in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he oversees high-throughput genomics laboratories. An alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B. S. in Biochemistry, he has progressively advanced from Lab Supervisor to his current senior leadership role, focusing on operational excellence.

He is passionate about demonstrating how DNA and technology can solve real-world problems and creating opportunities for future generations in science. He actively collaborates with local colleges to develop biotechnology programs and curricula that inspire students and build a skilled local workforce for the growing bioscience sector in Nebraska.

Niraj serves on the Board of Directors for Bio Nebraska, contributing his industry knowledge and leadership to advance the states bioscience ecosystem.
