Patrick Coats

Patrick is an experienced entrepreneur with a background in finance, corporate development, and consumer startups. A Harvard graduate with an MBA, he has co-founded multiple ventures, including Commons and Kaleidoscope Labs. He currently serves as Director of Special Projects at nuEra Cannabis and is a Co-Founder of GFT Capital.

His long-standing connection to Harvard extends from his undergraduate studies to serving on the investment team for a student-focused venture fund. This early experience highlights a foundational interest in fostering innovation and supporting new ideas from the ground up, an interest he continues to pursue through his entrepreneurial ventures.

While a junior at Harvard, he was on the investment team for a venture fund aimed at preventing the university from “chasing away” brilliant minds.
