He holds Bachelor of Laws and Commerce degrees from the University of Melbourne and began his career as a lawyer.
Outside of his business ventures, Paul is deeply involved in Australian society. He serves as a Commissioner for the Australian Football League (AFL) and is a passionate, lifelong supporter of the St Kilda Saints. He also engages in philanthropy through the P&S Bassat Foundation and enjoys playing golf in his spare time.
He co-founded Seek in 1997, fundamentally transforming Australias employment advertising landscape from print to online.
