Paul O'Reilly

Paul OReilly leads innovation at Sonraí Analytics, focusing on developing advanced AI and analytical techniques. His expertise lies in computational pathology, bioinformatics, and integrating imaging with omic data. He holds a Ph. D. from Queens University Belfast and previously led a team at Philips that created one of the earliest deep learning applications for digital pathology.

Outside of his direct role, Paul is an active contributor to the scientific community, frequently co-authoring research papers and whitepapers on AI in pathology. He is open to professional networking, as shown by his activity at industry congresses. He maintains strong ties to academia as a former researcher and lecturer at Queens University Belfast.

He led the team at Philips that developed the first commercial Deep Learning algorithms for tumour identification and quantification.
