A Cambridge-educated engineer, he is recognized for his expertise on iconic projects including the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, Arsenals Emirates Stadium, and The O2 Arena.
His passion for the field extends beyond corporate roles; he is a Visiting Professor at the University of Cambridge and a judge for the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. At Cambridge, he was an enthusiastic member of the Jesus College sports scene, playing rugby, cricket, and hockey.
He was the youngest person to be made a partner and director at the engineering consultancy Buro Happold, at age 30, and the Royal Academy of Engineerings youngest Fellow in 2003.
