Peter Laughton is the Head of Military Diving at JFD Global, leveraging over 32 years of decorated service in the Royal Navy. A specialist in mine warfare and clearance diving, his career includes commanding the Fleet Flagship HMS Albion and an international maritime security task force. He holds a Masters degree from Kings College London and is an MBE.
Outside of his professional life, Peter is deeply involved in sailing, serving as the Vice Commodore of the Royal Naval Sailing Association and enjoying time on his family boat. He is a youth rugby coach for the U14 squad at Chichester Rugby Football Club and also enjoys mountain biking.
He once commanded the International Maritime Security Construct, a 12-nation coalition task force ensuring maritime security in the Middle East.
