Peter MacAskill

Peter MacAskill is a seasoned leader in economic development, formerly serving as the President & CEO of Invest Nova Scotia. With a career dedicated to fostering sustainable growth, he has extensive experience helping businesses across all sectors improve productivity and competitiveness. He is an alumnus of St. Francis Xavier University.

Outside of his professional career, Peter demonstrates a strong commitment to his community and the arts. He has a long-standing involvement with Symphony Nova Scotia, where he has served in several leadership capacities on the Board of Directors, including Past Chair and Secretary/Treasurer, showcasing a deep passion for the provinces cultural institutions.

He has dedicated over a decade of service to the board of Symphony Nova Scotia.
