D. in Bioprocess Engineering and a background as a researcher at the University of Oulu, he leads the technological development of Solein production.
Before pioneering sustainable food technology, Petri was a Brewing Expert at a craft brewery, where he was involved in setting up the brewing process, developing recipes, and overseeing quality control. This experience in fermentation science provides a unique foundation for his current work in cellular agriculture.
He has successfully scaled Solar Foods technology a hundredfold from their pilot facility to their first commercial plant, Factory 01.
