Raam Jani

Raam Jani leads the Business Practice in BakerHostetlers Chicago office, specializing in middle-market M&A and private equity. He has deep expertise in entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA) and search fund transactions. Clients describe him as a calm and diplomatic presence who is instrumental in navigating complex deals to completion.

Outside of his practice, Raam is committed to pro bono work, including assisting non-profits and helping low-income individuals with home purchases. During his time at the University of Notre Dame, he was the MVP of a championship intramural basketball team. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and children.

He frequently lectures on M&A and ETA at top business schools like Chicago Booth, Kellogg, Wharton, and Darden.
