Rajitha Venugopal is an Assistant Professor in Literary and Cultural Studies at FLAME University, with a Doctor of Arts from Jamia Millia Islamia. Her academic focus includes memory studies, postcolonialism, and Indian writing, and she frequently co-authors articles and opinion pieces.
Outside her core academic work, she is passionate about graphic novels and anime, leading sessions for student clubs on these subjects. She is also an advocate for linguistic diversity, writing about the importance of celebrating Indias regional languages and their connection to identity.
She has co-authored published work on the contemporary significance of graphic novelist Joe Sacco.
