Outside of his primary ventures, Ryan serves on the board of the Jeffrey Modell Foundation. He is also an active lender through Kiva, an online community that focuses on funding businesses, particularly those owned by women, in developing countries. This reflects a deep-seated interest in philanthropy and global economic empowerment.
He was the first CEO of a cannabis-related company to be named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2016 for Enterprise Technology.
