Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ryan is deeply connected to his community. He has dedicated a decade to mentoring youth as a lead judge for the Northwestern Ontario Regional Science Fair, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering the next generation of scientists and innovators in the region.
His consultation work for the Ontario Far North Electoral Boundaries Commission directly led to the creation of two new provincial ridings.
