Saloni Doshi

Saloni Doshi is the Founder and Director of Space118 Art Foundation, an organization she established to support artists by providing grants and studio space. An LSE graduate in Media and Communication, she is a prominent art patron and collector, focusing on contemporary, tribal, and folk art from South Asia. She also sits on the Guggenheim Museums Middle East Committee.

An avid reader and photographer, Saloni began collecting art at age 23, a passion that evolved into her profession. She grew up in New Delhi, trained in classical Bharatnatyam dance, and later moved to Mumbai. She aims to make art more accessible and demystify the idea that it is an exclusive commodity, encouraging a new generation of collectors.

She uniquely transformed part of her personal warehouse in South Mumbai into artist studios and residencies, addressing a critical need for creative space in the city.
