Sam Williams

As the Head of Finance and Business Planning for the UK Customs Regime at HM Revenue & Customs, Sam is a strategist focused on the spending review and long-term investment planning. His career spans policy and strategy roles at HM Treasury, the UK Home Office, and the Department for International Trade. He holds a BSc from the University of Leicester.

Sam has a personal interest in environmental topics, particularly the potential of tree planting to combat the climate crisis. He also follows developments within the UKs central government and the Ministry of Defence.

He possesses extensive experience engaging stakeholders across UK government, devolved administrations, crown dependencies, and overseas territories.
