Sarah Sheikh is a physician-scientist holding dual roles at Takeda as Head of Global Development and Head of the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area. With over 20 years of experience, including at Biogen and Celgene, she specializes in translating scientific discoveries into medicines. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oxford.
Outside of her core responsibilities, Sarah serves on the Board of Directors for Target ALS, reflecting a deep commitment to advancing research for neurological diseases. She has founded industry-academic fellowship programs to mentor the next generation of scientists, championing collaboration to solve complex medical challenges.
