Sebastian Rice
Editor · DISC type CSSebastian Rice is the co-head of the corporate practice and partner in charge of the London, Geneva, and Hong Kong offices at Akin. An alumnus of the University of Exeter, he focuses on cross-border M&A and private equity transactions. He speaks both Russian and Italian.
Outside of his legal career, Sebastian demonstrates a strong commitment to education and community, having served as the Chair of the Board of Governors for Sarum Hall School. He is also noted as being active in his firms pro bono legal services committee.
He was recently recognized by Financial News as one of the “Fifty Most Influential Lawyers 2025” for his leadership and deal-making.
