Sharon Cryan is the Founder and CEO of FoodNerd, a Buffalo-based food technology company. Leveraging her legal background with a J. D. from Touro University, she transitioned to entrepreneurship to combat the processed food industry. Her company, a recent winner of the prestigious $1 million 43North competition, creates nutrient-dense, shelf-stable foods.
Deeply passionate about nutrition, Sharon co-founded the Anti-A. G. E. s Foundation to raise awareness about the health impacts of processed foods. Her motivation is partly inspired by her mothers health struggles and her own experiences as a mother. A Buffalo native, she is an active participant in the founder community and a Buffalo Bills fan.
She was a panelist at a Founderland event in Malibu, speaking alongside Patrick Schwarzenegger about the future of food and health engineering.
