Educated at Bryant University and Cornell, he is pioneering sustainable, large-scale fish farming with minimal environmental impact to provide healthy protein for a growing population.
Inspired by a childhood love for fish, Shaurya is a certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and a licensed drone pilot. His entrepreneurial journey is driven by a mission to merge technology with environmental stewardship, addressing global protein demands while protecting marine ecosystems from overfishing.
As part of a Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam, he co-invented a low-cost, automated system for planting eelgrass, receiving a $10, 000 grant for the innovation.
