Shawn Peterson is the Direct to Consumer Business Manager and official company historian for PEZ Candy Inc. An accomplished author on the topic of PEZ, he leveraged a previous career at Hallmark and his passion for collecting to create his role, where he also manages the PEZ Visitor Center.

His interest in PEZ began at age 20 when he started collecting dispensers from a flea market. This hobby grew into a world-class personal collection, which now forms the core of the exhibits at the PEZ Visitor Center he pitched and developed. His favorite PEZ flavor is sour watermelon.

He successfully turned his personal passion into a profession by conceiving the idea for the PEZ Visitor Center and pitching it directly to the company.
