Stephanie Vaz Ferreira is an Associate, architect, and community planner at Gensler who integrates design, policy, and advocacy. She co-leads Equity and Inclusion initiatives in Genslers Northwest Region and has expertise in aviation and K-12 design. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning from USC and a Master of Architecture from California Baptist University.
A native of Guinea-Bissau, Stephanie is passionate about using architecture for social change and elevating the innovation emerging from Africa. She is an active member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and organizes events like the Black Women in Architecture Brunch to foster community and mentorship.
Inspired by her architect father, she has pursued architecture since age three to improve global living conditions.
