Susan Kalweit is the Vice President of Programs at USGIF, leveraging over three decades of experience in geospatial intelligence. A former Senior Executive at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), she led thousands of personnel and focused on modernizing GEOINT tradecraft with AI. She holds a Masters degree from the National Defense University.
Outside of her extensive career in national security, she is a proud mother of two young professionals. Her personal passions include Disney and CrossFit, reflecting a dynamic range of interests beyond her professional life. She lives with her husband and children in Northern Virginia.
She has been recognized with the Distinguished Civilian Service Award and the National Imagery and Mapping Agency Outstanding Woman of the Year Award.
