Tia Kauffman is a Clinical Research Director at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with over two decades of experience in public health research. She specializes in leading complex, multi-million dollar projects in genomics and cancer early detection and interception. She holds a Master of Public Health from Portland State University.
Outside of her scientific leadership, Tia is passionate about community involvement and animal welfare. She has dedicated her time as a board member and foster mentor for the Cat Adoption Team, the largest cat shelter in the Pacific Northwest, and has also served as President of a parents association.
