Outside of work, Tobin is an adventurer who enjoys exploring U.S. National Parks with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid long-distance swimmer, having completed challenging open-water races such as the swim from Alcatraz to San Francisco and around the Statue of Liberty.
To get his first venture off the ground, he and his co-founder borrowed $350,000 by strategically maxing out 37 different zero-interest credit cards.
