Tom Birmingham

Tom Birmingham is the Water Team Manager at Meta, where he spearheads the companys global water strategy for its data centers. With over 25 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, his career includes leadership roles at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and Brown and Caldwell. He holds a BS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Outside of his professional life, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and dog. He has a passion for gardening, which received significant attention while he was working from home during 2020. This hobby suggests an appreciation for nature and cultivation.

He is leading Metas high-profile initiative to become "water positive, " focusing on water restoration projects and innovative utility partnerships for its global infrastructure.
