Tony James serves as the Director of Facilities at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, where he leverages over a decade of experience in public facilities management. He has managed diverse construction projects, from historic remodels to new LEED-certified exhibits, and holds Procore certifications. His career at the zoo began in the horticulture department.
Outside of his direct responsibilities, Tony has an interest in large-scale project management and themed environments, reflected in his professional interests in The Walt Disney Company and CH2M. He is also focused on building a strong facilities team, actively recruiting for new roles.
He has been with the Cincinnati Zoo for nearly twenty years, starting right out of college and working his way up from the horticulture department.
