Trey Tacon

Trey is the Director of Engineering for Security at Render and the founder of NovaCove, a company aimed at making effective cybersecurity accessible for small businesses. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, he has a history of building and scaling security functions and technology strategies. People often describe him as an exceptional, empathetic, and impactful technical leader and mentor.

Outside of his deep involvement in technology and security, Trey identifies as a father and a gardener. These personal interests suggest a grounded individual who values nurturing and growth, both in his family life and personal hobbies. He is also noted as a donor to the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.
