Tyreese Bowman is the Outreach & Engagement Manager for the Short North Alliance, focusing on community building, safety, and public art. A Capital University graduate and a 2024 "Next Up Columbus" honoree, he has a background in talent acquisition and extensive experience in the non-profit sector, advocating for diverse communities.
Outside of work, Tyreese is deeply embedded in the Columbus community. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Stonewall Columbus and enjoys both performing in and watching local theater. He is also passionate about the local arts scene, hot yoga, swimming, and exploring Columbuss many parks.
He has led multiple community initiatives, including de-escalation training for businesses and programs to promote inclusivity and equitable public transportation.
