Vasily Nomokonov

Vasily Nomokonov is the Managing Director at Sibur, where he is responsible for production efficiency, R&D, IT, and workplace safety. A graduate of the Moscow Institute of Engineering and Physics and a former Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, he also previously worked as a research fellow at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

Outside of his primary professional duties, Vasily is an author, having written a book on practical management titled "Not a Theorist. " He has also taken up triathlon as a hobby, enjoying the strategic diversity of combining swimming, cycling, and running, and has competed in events.

He transitioned from a career in particle physics, including work at the Large Hadron Collider, to management consulting and then industrial leadership.
