Whitney Buhr is the Director of Indigenous Engagement at the Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation, with over a decade of experience in the energy sector. Her leadership has supported over $1. 2 billion in Indigenous equity partnerships. She holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Victoria and an Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute.
Outside of work, Whitney is committed to community-building and reconciliation, volunteering with Young Women in Energy and the International Association of Public Participation (IAP2). Her passion for this work was ignited by a transformative experience living in the Stó: lō community in British Columbia during her studies. She recently returned from maternity leave.
