Zali Steggall OAM MP

Zali Steggall is the Independent Federal Member of Parliament for Warringah, leveraging her past career as a successful barrister in commercial, family, and sports law. A Griffith University graduate with a Diploma in Law, she is a skilled professional with extensive leadership experience and a focus on integrity-driven policy in the Australian Parliament.

Outside of politics, Zali is passionate about sport, health, and education. She is a former four-time Olympian and arbitrator for the Court of Arbitration for Sport. She actively supports environmental causes, such as reducing plastic waste, and advocates for community well-being through initiatives like promoting consent education.

Interesting fact: Zali is Australias most successful alpine skier, winning an Olympic bronze medal in slalom at the 1998 Nagano Winter Games.
